Houston, 1993. Mobility limits cooperation.

A short review of some of the mathematical research on the prisoner's dilemma (PD). Depending on the time spent in a coalition once formed, and the time to search for a new partner, the ability to leave a given partnership and find a new partner who will cooperate at least once will limit the success of cooperating strategies.
